Countess Lubienska was in the Polish Resistence during WWII, and imprisoned in Auschwitz. At age 77, she was stabbed to death in the Gloucester Road tube station, and her murderer was not identified. She was a social activist for Nazi war camp survivors. Daughter of Władysław Skarżyński & wife, Dorota Gołębiowska. Wife of Count Edward Łubieński.
