She was survived by her husband Jack J. Appel, a former stock broker; her children from her first marriage (to Herbert Loeb Hutner), son Jeffrey J. Hutner (and his wife, Jamie) and daughter Lynn Hutner Colwell (and her husband, Steve); grandchildren Christopher, Corey, Chip and Karl; great-grandchildren Zoe and Evan; and sister-in-law Harriet A. Riker.
She was a gracious lady and will be missed by her many friends.
