Lori R. Kastner-Pendergrass, age 58, of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly Friday May 4, 2018 at Friendship Village in Dayton, Ohio. She was born June 16, 1959 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Samford and Jane (Grunert) Kastner. In addition to her parents, her brother, Craig Kastner, 73, passed away on August 14 on the same year as we lost Lori.
She is survived by one sister: Linda Kastner-Stein, Peachtree, GA; two nieces; a host of friends, and her loving dog Cooper.
Lori graduated from Piqua Central High School in 1977. She was employed at The Montgomery County Jobs and Family Services as a caseworker for 30 years.
Funeral services were Wednesday May 23, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Beechwood Cemetery, Lockington, OH. Arrangements were handled by Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home.
She was cremated and currently has no marker.
