Lois Anne (Skorupa) Miller, 71, of Phoenix, passed away on May 21, 2018.
A funeral service is being held at 10 a.m. May 26 at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd., Peoria, Arizona; with visitation one hour prior. She will be laid to rest at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 30 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ, 85024.
Lois grew up in Columbus and graduated from St. Boneventure High School and then took courses at Kearney State Teachers College. After getting married she lived in Germany for several years and then settled in Phoenix in the early 1970s and started a banking career that included 45 years at Wells Fargo Bank before retiring.
Lois was of big fan of Phoenix professional sports teams, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren in Florida and traveling to visit family and friends.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Robert H. Miller, parents Henry and Eleanore Skorupa, brothers Charles Skorupa and Allan Skorupa and sister Nancy Skorupa.
She is survived by her daughter Stephanie (Tom) Gosselin, grandchilden Anna Renee and Zander Robert Gosselin, sister Marian (Bill) Dostal, brothers Jim (Cissy) Skorupa, Frank (Peggy) Skorupa and Joe (Dorothy) Skorupa and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
