CHARLOTTE (REMREY) BARSEMA , 77, of 18910 13th St., Fulton, died Thursday at her home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, Fulton, with the Rev. Phillip Sneller, pastor of First Reformed Church, Fulton, officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fulton Township Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry Smith, Rusty Littlejohn, Matt Huizenga, Chuck Spencer, Bob Kuehl, Frank Heinitz and Curt Stuhlman.

She was born April 28, 1927, in Savanna, Ill., to Charles and Blanch Worden Remrey. She was educated in the Fulton grade schools. She married Zepe Barsema, April 21, 1947, in Clinton. He died June 11, 1997. She was a homemaker and stay at home mom.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Barbara (Eddie) Hager, Mrs. Mary (Vernon) Van Kampen and Lela (Bob Housby) Barsema, all of Fulton, and Mrs. Sonja (William) Schatti of East Moline, Ill.; seven sons, Gerald (Phyllis) Barsema, Robert (Kathleen) Barsema, Rickie (Laurie) Barsema, Jimmie (Nancy) Barsema, and David (Tina) Barsema, all of Fulton, Donald (Jenella) Barsema of Lyndon, Ill., and Michael (Kathleen) Barsema of Clinton; 26 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Helen (Louis) Buikema of Fulton, and Anna Mae Boyert of Camanche; and four brothers, Ralph Remrey, and Raymond (Marilyn) Remrey, both of Thomson, Ill., Harry Remrey of Fulton, and Daniel (Sally) Remrey of Lena, Ill. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, one grandson, three sisters and two brothers.
