He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma and Peter P. Leyendecker Jr.; brothers, Peter P. (Guillermina) Leyendecker III, Samuel J. (Janet) Leyendecker, Albert A. Leyendecker; and his sister, Emily Ann (Robert) Knowles.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Lucia G. Leyendecker; children, Frank X. (Lourdes) Leyendecker Jr., Rebecca L. (Bill) Wise, Elizabeth Leyendecker; grandsons, Jay H. (Karina) Leyendecker, Jonathan E. Leyendecker, Jordan D. Wise; granddaughters, Lisa Leyendecker, Lourdes Leyendecker, great granddaughter, Josephine Leyendecker; brothers, Richard A. Leyendecker and Gilbert L. (June) Leyendecker.
He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd.
A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
Funeral procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, from the funeral home to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.
A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
