Nancy G. Muench, age 68, a Newton resident, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Green Bay.

She was born January 12, 1950 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Thomas and Lucille (Holschbach) Walsh. On April 4, 1970 Nancy married Paul Muench at St. Isidore's Catholic Church, Osman. She was employed with Tecumseh, operated Golden Hills Prime Veal, and owned and operated Pack'er Inn, Newton, with her husband for many years. Nancy was a member of Christian Mothers, was a 4-H leader, as well as a taxi driver to her kids. She volunteered with the Hope House in Manitowoc, loved snowmen, growing giant pumpkins, playing cards with friends, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Survivors include her husband: Paul Muench, three children: Lynn (Brian) Klem, Brenda (David) Sunby, and Keith (Rachel Webb) Muench; four grandchildren: Abigail and Connor Klem and Isabelle and Lillie Sunby; two sisters-in-law: Jean Walsh and Eileen Leschke, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Robert (Sondra) Muench, Barb (Leroy) Krepline, Sandy Muench, Tom (Kathy) Muench, Debbie (Bill) Nate, Steve Muench, Joan Nickels, Cathy (Bryan) Weber and Todd Muench. Special aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas and Lucille Walsh; three siblings: Louette Erickson, Jerry Walsh, and Larry Walsh; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Walter and Dorothy Muench; brother-in-law: Denny Muench; and other relatives and friends.

Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 2, 2018 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, Newton. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Beaudry. A private burial will take place at a later date at St. Isidore's Catholic Cemetery, Osman.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, Newton, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A prayer service will conclude the visitation at 8:00 p.m. The visitation will continue on Monday, July 2, 2018 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, Newton, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
