JOSEPH ALBERT PRUSS, age 77, of North Little Rock passed from this lifeon April 25, 2007. He was a lifetime member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Marche in North Little Rock, and a member of the Rosary Solidarity. He was a Korean War Veteran and received a Purple Heart and bronze medal.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Angeline Pruss; three brothers, Edward, August and Max Pruss; sister, Sister Julia M. Pruss; and a son, Joseph Pruss Jr. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Regina Wilk Pruss; son, Marion and wife Rita; daughters, Rose Roswell and husband, David and Anna Ranney; grandchildren, John, Amelia, Julie, Angeline and Joanie Pruss, Martin Roswell and wife Shannon, Valerie Hennessey and husband Kurt, and Rachael Ranney; onegreat-grandson, James Patrick Hennessey and another on the way; also many nieces and nephews. He was loved by his family and will be missed especially by his grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 7006 Jasna Gora Drive, North Little Rock, Ark. 72118. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Anthony Pruss, James Pruss, Matthew Wilk, Clifford Raines, Frank Gubanski and Nathan Crawford. A rosary service will be held 7 p.m. Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.
