Oshkosh (WI) Northwestern, Dec. 7, 2011: Theodore J. Donker, 94, of Oshkosh died Monday December 5, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center.

He was born September 5, 1917 in Oshkosh a son of the late Theodore and Matilda (Morasch) Donker. Ted married Verna Speigelberg on Dec. 17, 1949 in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on July 6, 2003.

Ted worked at Rockwell International for many years and was a WWII Army veteran. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and enjoyed golfing and bowling.

His survivors include a daughter Linda Donker of Appleton; a son Ted Donker of Madison; a grandson Corey (Amanda) Feller of Menasha; two great-granddaughters Jaelyn and Brooklyn Feller; a sister-in-law Dolores Donker of Oshkosh; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters Emma Martin, Catherine "Sis" Anderson, and Vera Zingler and two brothers William "Buck" Donker and Edward Donker.

A funeral service for Theodore is being held Saturday Dec. 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Lake View Memorial Park, Rev. Jeffrey Knoll officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from noon until the service. Burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers a memorial in his name is being established.

Ted's family would like to thank the staff at Mercy Medical Center, especially ICU and 2nd Floor for all their help and care.
