Klimmek, Evelyn Irene Bay City Michigan, Mrs Klemmek, age 93 years passed away on December 31, 2015 with her family at her side. She was born in Bay City, Michigan on August 29,1922 to the late Jacob and Sophie (Wojtkowiak)Woys. On February 9, 1944, she married Alfred Klimmek and he preceded her in death on December 21, 2011. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her pets. She is survived by three sons: Robert A (Linda) Klimmek, William G (Diane) Klimmek, and Donald G (Jeanette) Klimmek, 7 grandchildren: Rick (Lisa) Pleaugh, Brandon (Nicole) Klimmek, Melissa (Craig) Hartz, Wendy (Jack) King, Dawn(Drew) Clyde, Dale (Charmaine) Klimmek and Tadd (Kelly) Klimmek and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Edwin and Daniel Woys and a sister, Alice Diehl. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. LeRoy Westphal will officiate with burial following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. at Penzien-Steele Funeral Home. She will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church General Fund.
