Age 85 of Royal Palm Beach passed away Saturday morning. Former native of Key West, Fla.; retired tv and radio repairman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Ruth of RPB; daughter, Rose Johnson of Riviera Beach; two sons, Robert Archer of Belle Glade and Thomas Archer of Slidell, La.; sisters-in-law, Eliz Walker and Lilian Jones, both of Deland, Fla., Frances Sands of Texas and Orrie Archer of Key West, Fla.; two brothers-in-law, Trevor Butler of Apoka, Fla, and Elijah Sands of Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at the Dorsey Funeral Home, 3525 South Congress Ave., Lake Worth Monday 11:30 A.M. conducted by Rev. Ray Zander and Rev. William McAlees of the Bethesda Gospel Chapel, WEPB. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, LW. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
