LOSEKE--Elmer Gus Loseke
Elmer Gus Loseke, 72, of 1315 9th St., died Wednesday in his home.
A family prayer services [sic] will be conducted at 10:15 a.m. in Immanuel Lutheran Church followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Roland Jank officiating.
Visitation will be after 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Gass-Haney Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. until the service Saturday at the church.
Mr. Loseke was born May 18, 1908, in Platte County, son of Gus and Matilda Rosche Loseke. He married Velma Saalfeld June 10, 1931, at Christ Lutheran Church. He farmed north of Columbus before moving to Columbus.
He is survived by three sons, Bruce and Oliver Loseke of Columbus and Delano Loseke of Kearney; three sisters, Miss Olga Loseke and Mrs. Arthur (Emma) Rade of Columbus and Mrs. Al (Mildrd) Krenzine of Norfolk; five grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife on March 18, 1973; and two sons, Merle and Louis.
