Rebecca Wetzel-20622, a descendant of Johann "Jacob" Wetzel (I)-3515 (1718-1785) last of Hereford Twp. Berks Co. PA. who arrived (Qualified) at Phil'd, on Oct. 8, 1737 from Germany, via Rotterdam.

Peter S. Broers arrived at New York, Sept. 28 1902. He was born in Texel, Netherlands. In 1920 Peter was working as a "Reeler" in the Paterson, N.J. Silk Mills. In 1923 he was working the coal mines in Tamaqua, PA.(Probably only for a very short time) Later he was in New Jersey, in 1930, he worked in the laundry Industry. In 1940 Peter was a "Fireman" (Boiler Worker).

Peter & Rebecca Broer's son, Kenneth P. Broers, was born 1925 and a member of the 101st Airborne Division during the "Battle of the Bulge", Belgium, Dec. 1944. Kenneth was awarded the "Combat Infantryman Badge". They also had a daughter, Lenore J. (Broers) Monroe, (1924-1990).
