Marion Sophie Hancq, 87, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 in Manassas, Virginia.

Born on July 22, 1930 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Rebecca (Funk) Muth.

On November 25, 1950 she married David L. Hancq. They were married 61 years before his death in 2012.
Besides her parents and husband, Marion was preceded in death by her brother, William Muth and her sister, Doris Muth Brosky.

She is survived by her son, Paul Hancq; daughter-in-law, Debra Hancq, grandchildren, Kathleen Hancq and John Hancq as well as her great-granchildren, Jaden Alvarado and Haylie Greco.

Marion adored her family and loved spending time with them, especially the grandkids and great-grandkids. She will be dearly missed.

An inurnment service will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery where she will join her husband.
