Frank P. Ryan, 80, of Cornelia Street, died at Champlain Valley Unit of the Medical Center Saturday.
He was born the son of Theodore and Elizabeth (Weldon) Ryan.
He was the husband of the former Julia Weldon Sweet.
He was highway foreman for State of NY Highway Dept for 35 years. After his retirement, he operated Ryan’s Motel on Lake Shore Rd. and Ryan’s Guest House on Margaret Street until 1965, when he suffered a heart attack.
He is survived by his wife and several nieces and nephews.
