Gertrud was first married to Otto Anton Kölbl and later to Robert James Wilson, and was the loving mother of six children, one boy and five girls.
Trudy will be remembered as an avid reader who enjoyed discussing politics and world affairs with her family, or anyone else who would listen. She was a great cook and homemaker, who fed and took care of many foster children, as well as her own. She truly enjoyed having her hair styled at the salon and receiving a good, long foot massage from her kids. Trudy liked to display her German roots by singing and swaying to the old "Volksmusik" songs from her youth, and encouraged others to join in the fun.
Trudy is survived by her five daughters, Petra McNeil (Michael), Debra Harris (John), Ilse Toole (Willie), Hildegard Lane (Kenny), and Ilona Dearth (Ronald). She also leaves behind seventeen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. The entire family will greatly miss her generosity, wisdom, guidance and undying love.
A viewing will be held Sunday, August 26, 2018, from 12 to 4 p.m., at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 250 E. Apache Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74106. After cremation, her ashes will be interred at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, 1423 Cemetery Road, Muskogee County, Oklahoma, 74434, at a date yet to be determined.
