Jesse E. Clay Funeral Service Held Tuesday

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. for Jesse Earl Clay, 70, who died at his home here in Cleveland on Saturday.

Rev. Jim Smith, pastor of the Pentecostal Holiness Church, conducted services in the Chapman Funeral Chapel.

Clay came to Oklahoma 66 years ago and moved to Cleveland 8 years ago. He was a retired Boilermaker. He was a member of the American Legion and a veteran of World War I.

Survivers include his wife, Freda, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Sam Donelly of Cleveland; four brothers, Ollie of Grayhorse, Ben of Heidleburg, Miss.,Jim of Clinton, Mo., and Joe of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters Mrs. Ruth Hampton and Mrs. Goldie Youngblood, both of Pawhuska; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Interment was in Woodland Cemetary under the direction of the Chapman Funeral Home.
