Funeral services for the Rev. John E. Michalek of the St. Mary's church at Solon, la., will he held at 10 a. m Saturday in the church where the widely known priest has served as pastor for 22 years.

Father Michalek was accidentally killed in a duck hunting accident on the Iowa river near Solon early Thursday morning.

The Most Rev. Henry P. Rohlman, bishop of Davenport, will officiate at the services and the Rev. Herman Frenken, Mechanicsville, will preach the sermon.

Burial will be at St. Mary's cemetery at Solon. The body of Father Michalek will rest in state at his church after Friday evening.

Born the son of V. P. and Louisa Michalek on Feb. 6, 1890, at Victor, Ia., Father Michalek studied at St. Ambrose academy at Davenport, at St. Mary's seminary In Baltimore, Md., and at Kenrick seminary at St. Louis.

He is survived by his father, one brother and three sisters.
