Miriam Agius Muscat

Miriam Carmen Muscat passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 8, 2018 after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Feb. 5, 1945 in Halbalzan, Malta, to Anthony and Valentina Agius.

In 1950, Miriam moved with her parents and her brother Charles to San Francisco. Miriam attended St. Elizabeth Grammar School, then St. Vincent High School. Miriam met her husband Joe in 1994, and two years later they were married.

Miriam is survived by her husband Joseph Muscat, her two daughters Ginamarie (Sean) and Marissa, her brother Charles Agius (Marian), her nephews Matthew and Andrew, and her grandson Jon Anthony.

Visitation is on Friday, Sept. 14, beginning at 3:00 PM followed by the Rosary Vigil at 7:00 at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave. Daly City. The Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Church, 459 Somerset St. @ Wayland, SF. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1500 Mission Rd Colma.
