OSCAR V. HOWARD
Kearns - Oscar Virgil Howard, 78, of 5124 South 4820 West, Kearns, died of a heart attack Nov. 29, 1974, in a Salt Lake City hospital.
Born Feb. 2, 1896, Aurora, Ore. to William and Mary E. Howard.
He married Elva Westerberg, but later divorced. He married Lyda Anders, and they were also divorced. He was a retired railroad carman, and member of the LDS Church.
Survivors: sons and daughter, Rulon, Kearns; Virgil, Westlin, Ore.; Thelma Blackburn, Granger; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Sherman of Ore.; half-brothers Elroy B.Howard (birth 1927) and William A Howard (birth 1922), both of Oregon.
Graveside services Monday 2 p.m., Redwood Memorial Estates. Friends may call at 6500 S. Redwood Road one hour before services.
