Mary Ann Chillingworth Sprenger, 61, died at home Sunday following a lengthy illness. She is survived by a son, a daughter and grandchildren living in Wilmington, Vt. Mrs. Sprenger was born in New York City Jan. 22, 1923, the daughter of Francis and Katherine Rogers Chillingworth. She married Claus H. Sprenger, who survives, on Aug. 17, 1946, in Westchester County in New York. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Claudia E. Sprenger-Cast of Albuquerque, N.M., and Cynthia D. Sprenger of Wilmington; a son, Eric T. Sprenger of Wilmington, and six grandchildren, all of Wilmington. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
