Terry Tyson, 74, passed away on September 7, 2018 at his home. He was born in Wichita, Kansas. He attended elementary school in Costa Mesa, and was in the first graduating class of Costa Mesa High School. He also attended OCC, the University of California at Long Beach and received a Master's Degree from the University of Northern Colorado. He chose to serve his country by serving in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his sister, Elaine Dethlefsen; his nephew, Steven Dethlefsen and family; and niece Sarah Dethlefsen-Boyer and family. A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 29th, at 2:00pm at Harbor Lawn, Costa Mesa, CA.
