Florence M. Hashey, 80, of Murrells Inlet, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Grand Strand Nursing and Rehab.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister , Flo was born in Floral Park Long Island, NY, and was the daughter of the late Leonadis and Florence Dutil. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her sister, Patricia Attridge and brother, Leonard Dutil.
Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years, Daniel Hashey; children, Daniel Hashey and his wife Joann of Murrells Inlet; Linda Volpini and her husband Christopher of Farmingville, NY; Debbie Mule' of Speonk Long Island, NY; Stephanie Hache' of Howard Beach, NY; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sister Jacqueline Heimann and her husband William of Southington, CT.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Grand Strand Nursing and Rehab for the loving care and attention given to Flo.
A memorial mass will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at St. Michael Catholic Church with interment following in the church columbarium. The family will receive friends 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday October 7, 2018 at Burroughs Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet with a prayer service at 2:00 PM.
