Herald Coaster, June 15, 1961:

LeRoy Melvin Naumann, 39, of Rosenberg, passed away at the Polly Ryon Hospital Sunday at 9 p.m. after a brief illness.

He was a partner and manager of Main Auto Parts Company in Rosenberg. Naumann was a native of Columbus, but had lived in Rosenberg since 1946.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Calvary Baptist Church in Rosenberg, with Rev. H.L. McLerran and Rev. Wade Skinner officiating. Interment was in the Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers were George Parker, Si Grider, Ira Cooke Jr., Joe Denton, R.P. Siptak, Edmond Babovec. Honorary pallbearers were deacons of the Calvary Baptist Church and Duffie Monroe Sr.

Garmany and Company Funeral Directors of Rosenberg had charge of arrangements.

Mr. Naumann is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Naumann; a son, LeRoy M. Naumann Jr.; two daughters, Miss Alice Marie Naumann and Miss Sue Ann Naumann; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Naumann of Columbus; a brother, John Morris Naumann of Lake Jackson; and a sister, Mrs. O.H. Loessin of Columbus.
