According to online research there is a mother listed for Margaret as Sarah "Sally" Estes (born 1780 in Grainger County, TN and died 1848 in Scott County, TN). Sarah is also stated to have had been married to John Linn Carson, (Memorial ID 72415756) married 1801 in Grainger County, TN.
However, John L. Carson is also listed as to have married Margaret Biggs (Memorial ID 72415972) September 18, 1799 White Pine, Jefferson County, TN. I do not know which one of these ladies would have been Margaret's mother. If you have information, please let me know.
