Jane Ellen Schoen, 58, of Litchfield, passed away on Tues., Oct. 9, 2018 at 6:35 a.m. in her home. She was born on July 4, 1960 in Litchfield, IL, a daughter of Fred & Billie June (Short) Schoen.

Jane graduated Litchfield High School with the class of 1978. She went on to Capitol Area Vocational School & Lincoln Land Community College and received her nursing degree. Jane worked as a registered nurse at HSHS St. Francis Hospital for 30 years.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and The Women of the Moose Chapter #581, both in Litchfield. Jane enjoyed fishing, woodworking, shopping & sports. She especially enjoyed being with her family.

She is survived by:
1 brother, David (Becky) Crosley;
1 sister, Patricia Wilson both of Litchfield
Several nieces & nephews.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Thomas Crosley & 1 sister, Mary Beth Clinton; a great-niece, Tori Carroll.

Funeral services will be held Sat., Oct. 13, 2018 at 6 p.m. in Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Rev. Dean Waters, of Spring Valley Baptist Church in Henley, MO, will officiate. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until time of service in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association or Montgomery County Cancer Association. Cremation will follow the services. Inurnment will be on Wed., Oct. 17th at 11 a.m. in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield.
