J J DOHENY DIES SUDDENLY
J J Doheny, 62 years of age, of Chicago, who has been general superintendent of the railway mail service for the Chicago and middle western district for the past several years, dropped dead suddenly while returning home from his office in Chicago last week Wednesday, November 24th. Heart trouble was attributed as the cause of death.
Mr Doheny, who was a brother-in-law of Mrs Geo. J. Bauer of Effingham, is survived by his wife and six children, namely James, Francis, Catherine, Martha, Anthony and Thomas, all at home in Chicago.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning: from St Mel's Church at Chicago. Mr and Mm. Geo. 1. Bauer, and Mr and Mrs George H. Bauer, were among the relatives from Effingham who attended the funeral services.
