Mrs. Anna Schneider, 90, Topeka, died Saturday, April 4 at a Topeka hospital. Mrs. Schneider worked for Jensen Creamery until she
retired in 1960.
She was born Jan. 22, 1897 at Topeka, the daughter of John P. and Magdalene Heit Artzer. She lived all her life in Topeka. Mrs.
Schneider was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Altar Society of the church.
She was married to Joseph Nick Schneider Nov. 9, 1915 at Topeka. He died in 1948. She also was preceded in death by two infant sons, Ambrose Schneider on March 17, 1920 and John Laverne Schneider on Aug. 27, 1928, and a third son, Leonard Schneider in 1951.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Clara Spetter and Alberta Schneider, both of Topeka; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Schneider will lie in state from 2 until 9 p.m. Sunday at Brennan Funeral Home where rosaries will be recited by the Altar Society at 7 p.m. and the parish at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contriburtions may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 227 Van Buren, Topeka, 66603.
