The daughter of Martin and Bridget (Connelly) Mooney, Katie resided on Ardmore Drive and was a retired stenographer, having worked 20 years for the old National Bank of Kentucky. She died at home of arteriosclerosis at the age of 71, and following funeral services at St Elizabeth Church, was interred at St Louis on 24 March 1949.
