Patsy Hamilton "Pat" Fraley, 90, of Faith, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks in Salisbury. She was born September 27, 1928, in Rowan County, NC to the late Samuel Jessie Hamilton and Mollie Lyerly Hamilton. Mrs. Fraley was a graduate of Granite Quarry High School and Rowan Cabarrus Community College. Along with her husband, they operated Fraley Appliance and TV, located in Rockwell and was also employed by Cannon Mills, Leisure Lads, and Granite Knitwear. An active member of Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith, Mrs. Fraley served her church as a member of the Shiloh Seniors, Celebration Choir, Morning Circle, Sonshine Sunday School Class, Knit One Pray Too, and as a former Sunday School Teacher and Youth Leader. She was a member of Faith Civitan Club and a longtime volunteer with the Faith Fourth of July Celebration. Mrs. Fraley enjoyed baking and crocheting, knitting numerous baby bonnets and lap quilts that she ultimately gifted to others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Earl Fraley, daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Gary Leazer, grandson, Eric Faggart, great-granddaughter, Phyllis Ruth Leazer, three brothers, and five sisters. She is survived by her three daughters, Rickie Faggart and husband, Charlie, of China Grove, Darlene Shaheen and husband, George, of California, and Gail Yarbrough and husband, Tony, of Salisbury, grandchildren, Scott Leazer, Chris Leazer, Rob Faggart, Bradley Faggart, Kim Cauble, Ginger Pierce, Julie Yarbrough, Allison Virsick, and Matt Shaheen; and 16 great grandchildren. The family will greet friends and relatives from 2:00 to 2:45 PM on Saturday, November 10, 2018, in the Fireplace Lobby at Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday in the church sanctuary, conducted by Rev. Richard Myers. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 308, Faith, NC 28041 or Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks, 820 Klumac Road, Salisbury, NC 28144. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff of Trinity Oaks Health and Rehab for the care they provided to their mother over the years.
