Eva Mae Gerdes Hilderbrand was a daughter of George and Bertha Erickson Gerdes. She married Charles Edgar Hilderbrand in 1927 in Rantoul, Illinois. He died March 10, 1997.
She was survived by a son, John A. Hilderbrand; two daughters, Helen V. Faulkner and Ruth L. Batstone; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Mrs. Hilderbrand was a homemaker and had been employed at Smuckers Christian Book Store in Champaign and the University of Illinois.
She was a member of Stratford Park Bible Chapel.
