Abraham Knepp, 95, of Montgomery, passed away on Wednesday November 28, 2018 at 11:04 P.M at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis surrounded by his family.

He was born on January 24, 1923 in Montgomery, Indiana to John and Rachel (Stoll) Knepp.

Abraham was a member of Zion Amish Mennonite Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Rachel Knepp, his wife of 62 years, Sylvia (Graber) Knepp, his brothers; Ezra, Homer, Ervin, his sisters, Viola Graber, his daughter Carolyn Kay Wagler, his grandson Bradley Wagler, and his great- grandson Brandon Wagler.

Abraham is survived by his children; Owen (Harriet) Knepp of Montgomery, Virgil (Barbara) Knepp of Montgomery, Clarence “Shorty” (Patsy) Knepp of Montgomery, Dorothy (Kevin) Delaney of Sarasota, FL, Jack (Candy) Knepp of Sarasota, FL, his brother Lester Knepp and his sisters; Verda Knepp, Rachel Yoder, all of Montgomery, son – in – law Elmer Wagler of Loogootee, 15 Grandchildren, 28 Great- Grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Zion Amish Mennonite Church in Montgomery. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday December 1, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M and then resume from 3:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. at Zion Amish Mennonite Church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Zion Youth Mission Fund.
