Until he married, Albert lived at his family's home at 4824 S. Paulina in Chicago.
Albert worked as a photo enlarger for Elmer Coe Photography Studios on 105 N. Wabash.
His World War I draft records say he was tall with brown hair and brown eyes.
Albert married Marie Burdzinski on February 11, 1925 in Chicago. The couple had a son in February of 1926.
Albert had a severe problem with alcohol. At Christmas time in 1928, the family stove was repossessed due to non-payment. By November 14, 1929, the marriage ended in divorce. The grounds were desertion. Albert died on November 11, 1932, 25 years to day his grandson would be born (1957). The cause of death was pneumonia but his son suggested that his death was the result of a drunken altercation with a policeman. He was buried in St. Mary's Cemetery on November 14, 1932, three years to the day of his divorce.
