OBITUARY
Edward W. Cebula passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, January 6, 2019. He was born to Edward and Anna Cebula on February 27, 1938 and grew up in the rural farming community of Suffield, Connecticut.

Ed was always a hardworking and fun-loving guy. Born with retail management running through his veins, he worked feverishly to raise a young family while frequently moving to capitalize on his rapid upward movement into senior management with Lerner Shops. After heading west, he eventually met and married the love of his life, Elaine Otteni. They settled first in Arizona and then moving to Albuquerque in 1993, where they proudly owned and operated Fair Plaza Flowers & Gifts until his retirement in 2010.

Ed's greatest love was for his wife, Elaine, his children, grandchildren and the extended Otteni family. Ed & Elaine hosted countless festive parties for family and friends over the years. Everyone loved going to their home where all were welcomed with copious amounts of home cooked foods, freshly arranged flowers on every beautiful table and an abundance of uproarious laughter. He was legendary for his great sense of humor, boundless generosity, great faith and genuine compassion for the underdog especially those in need of extra love and care. He was passionate about his garden and his backyard menagerie of birds. God love you, "Ready Eddie", as you take charge and tend that prized tomato garden in heaven. And, don't worry, you have completed your mission and have made us all very happy to have known and loved you.

Ed is preceded in death by an infant son, Christopher. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; his three children, Scott Cebula and wife, Kanda of Laguna Hills, CA, Suzanne Zimmerman and husband, Eric of Altadena, CA, Sheryl Morris and husband, Grant of Oceanside, CA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Eric Zimmerman, Jr, Michael Zimmerman, Zachary Zimmerman, Alexander Cebula, Shelby Morris, Christopher Cebula, Emily Cebula, Melanie Cebula, Kayleigh Morris, and Ethan Morris and his brother Jerry Cebula and wife Jean of Broad Brook, Ct.
