Mervin LaVern Vogel age 77 of Plattsmouth, NE formerly of Omaha, NE passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Plattsmouth Care and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born on August 14, 1941 to Fred and Irene (Nolde) Vogel in Scottsbluff, NE. Mervin served his country as a fire fighter in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1962 until 1967. After retiring from the Air Force, Mervin continued working as a fire fighter for the Civil Service.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 14, 2019 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth with Pastor Michael McGregor as celebrant.
A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 P.M., Monday, January 14, 2019 at Sutton Cemetery in Sutton, NE with Pastor Mary Scott as celebrant.
