Helen was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, later in years she was known as "Nana".

She is survived by daughter Louisa Jane (Lou Jane) Miller, wife of Thomas L. Miller, three granddaughters, Wendy L. Etzweiler, wife of Kenneth P.; Cindy L. Southard, wife of Lucien R.; both of Millersburg, Tracy L. Lesser, wife of Dr. Glenn Lesser of Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Also surviving are her great and great-great-grandchildren Nicholas T. Etzweiler, wife of Kristine and two children, Evan and Bailee of Millersburg, Keith R. Etzweiler of Boston Mass. Tyler E. Bower and Alexa R. Southard of Millersburg, Kyle E. Southard of Harrisburg, Jillian N. Southard of Etters, Pa., Megan, Alexandra and David Lesser of Winston Salem, North Carolina.

She was also survived by two brothers-in-law, Robert Fromme of Lykens and Marlin Fromme of Millersburg, along with many nieces and nephews.

Helen was born on January 28th, 1914 in Sunbury, Pa, and her family moved to Millersburg in 1919.

She was the daughter of the late Blaine G. Walter Sr and Nellie V. Walter of Millersburg.

She was married to the late Raymond T. Fromme of Williamstown, Pa.

She was a sister to Blaine G. Walter Jr., who was killed on Guadelcanal during World War II in 1942, the Millersburg VFW Post is named in his honor.

Helen also had another brother Marlin O. Walter, two sisters, Evelyn C. Landis of Millersburg, and Geraldine A. Mattis of Elizabethville, all deceased.

She was a 1932 graduate of Millersburg High School, and a loyal community citizen, and a lifetime member of Grace United Methodist Church, Millersburg where she was a choir member.

She was a charter member of Millersburg VFW Auxiliary, past president of the Lykens Valley Garden Club, member of Millersburg Historical Society, Helen also was a member Eastern Star and Amaranth.

She was a dedicated driver for Meals-on-Wheels for many years.

She enjoyed traveling with CBNA community partners and loved to play pinochle at the Senior Center, Millersburg, She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and cryptograms.

Her real enjoyment came from playing cards and games with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.

Services will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, Thursday, May 31, 2007, at 2 PM with Rev. Douglas Compton officiating.

Visitation from 1-2 PM will be held in the church.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Millersburg. Memorials can be directed to her church, Grace United Methodist 982 Medical Road Millersburg, 17061 designated for "Flower Fund".
