Obituary – The Dodge City Kansas Journal, March 3, 1911, p. 3

Mrs. Christian Israel, wife of K.G. Israel of Wheatland died at the family home Thursday, February 23, and was buried in the Offerle cemetery, Saturday, February 25th.

Mrs. Israel's illness was of but short duration. Twin sons were born to her ten days before her death. She leaves five other children and a husband to mourn her death.

Mrs. Israel came to Ford County with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Krumrey, in 1878 when she was four years of age and all her life had been spent in this section. She was a splendid woman, and a host of friends sympathize with the family in their loss. Mrs. Sam Stubbs sister of Mr. Israel, and Mrs. Holtfrich, a brother of Mrs. Israel attended the funeral.
