Maurice G. Rump, 46, of 703 S. Ramsom, died at 4:45 p.m. Nov. 3 in his home. He had been in ill health the past two years.
He was born Jan. 14, 1931, in Milton to Maurice J. and Beulah Bickel Rump, was an Ottumwan most of his life, retired from Master Plumbers in 1975 due to disability and was a Korean War veteran and a member of O.B. Nelson Post No. 3, American Legion.
He married Loy Dean Kendall Jan. 19, 1965.
Survivors: his wife; sons Michael of Davenport and Favid, Mark and George of Ottumwa; daughters Patricia Lynch and Robin Rump of Ottumwa; stepdaughters Andrea Fisher of Cedar Falls and Linda Van Tassell of Blakesburg; two grandchildren; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Rump of Ottumwa; and a sister, Teresa Cornwell of St. Albine, W.Va.
Services: 3 p.m. Saturday in Reece Funeral Home, the Rev. Paul Hart of St. Patrick's Catholic Church officiating.
Burial: Calvary Cemetery with O.B. Nelson Post No. 3, American Legion, in charge of graveside services.
The casket will be closed at the beginning of the services.
Pallbearers: Rex Elder, Ray Henderson, Curt Snook, Kevin Kennedy, Gary Peterson and Kenneth Harsch.
Memorial: heart fund in the care of the funeral home.
