Henry Kindsfather, 77, of Greeley, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, at North Colorado Medical Center. He was born Jan. 7, 1942, in Windsor to Henry and Elizabeth (Wambolt) Kindsfather.

Henry graduated from Ault High School in 1960, where he was an outstanding athlete. He lettered in football, basketball, baseball and track.

He served in the U.S. Army from June 13, 1961, and was honorably discharged on May 31, 1967. While he was serving overseas, he married the love of his life, Kathy Seilbach, in Nellingan, Germany, on March 29, 1963. After his service in the Army, he worked at Monfort packing plant for several years. After leaving Monfort, he opened his own business, which he ran for 40 years.

Henry loved the outdoors. Goose hunting at the Timnath Reservoir, fishing on the Poudre River and at the Laramie Plains lakes. He loved to camp. He and his brother Harry built a cabin together in Poudre Canyon. He will always be remembered for his generosity and his kindness.

He is survived by his wife Kathy, sons Terry (Cindy) Kindsfather, Rick (Denise) Kindsfather; his brother John Kindsfather, his grandchildren Tyler and Justin Kindsfather and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Elizabeth Kindsfather, brothers, Harry and Charles and sister, Mary Jane.
