Caroline (Colonnese) Palumbo, age 90 of Fairfield, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in Carolton Health Care, Fairfield. Born in Fairfield on August 19, 1919 she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Anna (Cocivi) Colonnese and was a Fairfield resident most of her life. She was a retired seamstress for the Seaside Blouse Co. of Bridgeport. Caroline was predeceased by her beloved husband Louis Palumbo and her loving son Franco Palumbo. Survivors include her beloved family, one brother, Anthony Colonnese and wife, Daisy; one sister, Natalie Keck and husband, William; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Friday, May 28, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Rd., Fairfield. Interment was private at the convenience of the family. Arrangement entrusted to the Parente-Lauro Fun eral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport. www.parentelauro.com.
