Jane was born April 28, 1924, in Belle Plaine to John and Emma (Kohout) Chermack. Jane was one of thirteen children. Jane was a homemaker and a farmer whom took pride in her cattle. Her personality was that of a caring, loving and generous person. She loved to garden & nurture her flowers. Jane preferred to be outside and on the farm where she could wear her blue jeans instead of a dress. A few simple pleasures in her life were the love of Czech food and listening to concertina Polka music.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Hillard and many brothers and sisters, Dolores Klingberg.
