Died, on the 16th of September, 1887, in the sixty-eighth year of her age, Mrs. Sallie A. Buhl, wife of the late C.E. Buhl, of Hanover County, VA.
She survived her husband nineteen years. Her two daughters and an adopted daughter mourn their loss. For two years preceding her death she was constant sufferer, and for some time she was a confirmed invalid, but she was always cheerful, and gladly did she minster to those who were suffering or sorrowing. She was a faithful, unselfish mother. Professing conversion early in life, at St. Luke's church, she joined St. Peter's of which church she was a devoted member at the time of her death. She seemed to have no fear of death, and, in dying, testified to her hope of a glorious immortality, and requested her friends and loved ones to meet her in heaven.
