Frank E. Karge

Frank E. Karge, 82, 1007 N. Water St., died Sunday afternoon at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for three days.
He was born Oct. 7, 1893 in Berlin, Germany, the son of Wilhelm and Pauline Bach.
On June 5, 1919, he married Erna Assmann, also of Berlin. The couple came to Sheboygan in 1925. She died on May 25, 1959.
Mr. Karge was employed as a mechanic for 31 years, first for the Wisconsin Power and Light Co. and then for the Sheboygan Bus Lines, retiring in December 1958.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Heinz (Irmgard) Riesner of Wetmore, Col., and Mrs. Raymond (Elenore) Kaiser, with whom he made his home; five grandchildren, three great granddaughters, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Lundert of Grabow, D.D.R., Germany. He was preceded in death by four sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels, the Rev. Harvey Krueger, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Cremation will follow.
Friends may call at the funeral chapel after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
A memorial fund has been established in Mr. Karge's name for the Trinity Together building fund.
