William M. Heitshusen, age 84, of Scribner passed away Saturday at an Omaha hospital following a car accident. He was born in rural Uehling on January 22, 1896, to John and Katherine (Roth) Heitshusen, and lived in the area his entire lifetime, moving into Scribner upon his retirement from farming in 1953. He was united in marriage on Feb. 12, 1926, to Alma Meyer, and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church north of Hooper. They had twin daughters, Doris and Dorothy, who died in infancy, and one son, Dale. Funeral services were on May 6, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church north of Hooper with interment was in the church cemetery.
