Funeral services are pending at the Wessendorf chapel for Martha Elizabeth Scofield, 74, a resident of Santa Cruz for the past 16 years. Mrs. Scofield died last Friday at a local hospjtal after a long illness.
She is survived by her husband, Francis Ned Scofield of 1725 Bay street; two sons, Granville Owen Scofield of Santa Monica, and John Francis Scofield of Pismo Beach; a granddaughter, Barbara Lynne Scofield of Pismo Beach. She was a native of New Mexico.
