Ruth Ann Cantrell Main, 54, of Idamay, passed away at her residence Thursday (May 25, 2006). She was born June 7, 1948, in Paintsville, Ky., the daughter of Angie Cantrell of Erlanger, Ky., and the late Chester Cantrell. Ruth was employed for Aegis Communications in Fairmont and had formerly worked for Konica in Hudson, Ohio. She and her husband had also operated Granny’s Ceramics in Tallmadge, Ohio, before relocating to Idamay. She enjoyed working with ceramics and was Baptist by faith. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Martin D. Main; a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and James Lewis of Akron, Ohio; three sons, Isom Main and wife Hope of Idamay, Mark Main and wife Kim of Corbin, Ky., and Eric Main of Akron, Ohio; three sisters and brothers-in-law Kim and Roger Main of Erlanger, Ky., Alice and Richard Mader of Covington, Ky., and Carol and Don Wood of Caslitian Sprints, Tenn.; grandchildren, Mark, Saunsirae, Charlotte, Felissa, Sierra, Alica, Joey, Eric, Michael, Jimmy, Matthew, Joseph, Martin, Tiffany, Marshall, Caleb, Cassandra, and Kristy; as well as great-grandchildren, Jacob, Lauren, Logan, Samuel, Evan, and Eric. She was also like a second mother to Eddie and Michael Younce of Akron, Ohio. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Sunday and 1-9 p.m. Monday at the Hutson Funeral Home in Farmington. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Norman Hawkins officiating. Interment will be in the Shinnston Masonic Cemetery.spouse :Darrel Main
