MARY TERESA STOPPER BROCIOUS
AGE 91 YEARS

Mary Teresa Stopper Brocious was carried by angels to heaven on April 27, to celebrate her 53rd wedding anniversary with her husband, Richard A. Brocious, who preceded her in death in 2005. Born June 19, 1927, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Herbert and Irene Stopper.

In 1945, Mary graduated from St. Joseph High School in Williamsport. She was a member of St. Boniface Church and a lifelong devoted Catholic, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be forever missed by her family. Mary is survived by a son, John Martin (Cheryl); daughters, Irene Ogden and Rebecca Brocious (LJ); four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, two brothers, James H. and Joseph P. Stopper, and a sister, Catherine A. Smith, all preceded her in death.

Mary was very outgoing and made many friends throughout her lifetime. She loved to get her hair done, paint her nails and wear her signature lipstick. She continued to be social during her stay at ManorCare where she participated in various activities. She had many resident and staff friends.

Burial: Montoursville Cemetery.
