Gay/Atheist/Liberal - Mike was born to Arnold Francis Miller and Ethel Mae Lewis-Miller on August 17, 1955 at the now defunct St. John's Hospital in Salina, Kansas.

His father was raised in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. His Mum in Salina, Kansas. He had six siblings and was predeceased by his still-born sister, Monica and his -half brother Gerald.

Mike lived in his hometown, Salina, Kansas from 1972-1979 there upon returning to his beloved Tucson, Arizona.

He attended Corbett and Booth Elementary Schools: Fickett and Carson Jr. High Schools, all located in Tucson, Arizona. He was a member of the first 4-year graduating class at the new Santa Rita High School when it opened for his Freshman year in September 1969.

His-post-public school career involved a two-year mortuary science course at Kansas City, Kansas Community College on west State Street. He graduated in June 1975 and began working in August 1975 - his 20th birthday.

Mike worked as a mortician for 42 years 1975-2017, primarily at Chapel Funeral Home and Roselawn Mortuary both located in Salina, Kansas. He also worked at Arizona Mortuary in Tucson from 1979-1981 primarily as an embalmer only. He went into embalming as a Freelance/Journeyman embalmer on call with local mortuaries as a fill in during in-house embalmers vacations or sick leave.

He loved the Sonoran Desert of southern Arizona and his adopted hometown, Tucson. An avid collector of Cadillac motorcars he often quipped, "There are two things one can never have enough - men and Cadillacs!"
He was a lifelong fan of Mae West.

His personal life involved GLBT/atheism issues. He was liberal Democrat.

He married the love of his life Kadú Martins formerly of Joinville, Santa Catarina, Brazil on October 9, 2018.

Mike was cremated. His ashes were scattered at Sanctuary Cove in the Tucson Mountain foothills where he scattered his mother's ashes in 2013.
