Bill Norman Mitchell age 91 of Blue Eye, MO, passed away on May 19, 2019 at his home in Blue Eye, MO.
He was born on June 24, 1927 in Goodman, Missouri the son of Frank and Rose Greenup Mitchell.
He Served in the US Navy from 1944-1946, as a Seaman Second Class.
He went back to Lanagan MO after serving in the Navy and worked various jobs before he began his work with Amarado Hess in 1953 then
10 years later he married Sybil in Sacramento California, on September 13, 1963. He worked then went to Lakin Kansas where began his work for KN Energy.
H retired in 1989 from KN Energy. 3 years after retirement Bill and Sybil moved to Leisure Shores Estate in Blue Eye MO.
Bill loved to trap, fish, hunt, work on small engines and just enjoyed tinkering with anything in his shop behind the house.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Sybil, a son Brian Mitchell and his wife Crystal and Daughter Eilene Mitchell. Six grandchildren, Jordan Mitchell, Alexis Mitchell, Christian Mitchell and wife Alicia, Andrew Mitchell, Isaiah Mitchell and Ellis Keenan. Bill had 1 great grandson Mason. He is also survived by his brother Jack Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his sister Faye, brothers Bob and Ellis, Mother Rose and Dad Frank.
