Town of Meeme Resident Dies; Rites Wednesday
Manitowoc – Mrs. Wilhelmina Koeppen, widow of Christian Koeppen, died at the home of her son, Christian, in the town of Meeme Saturday night, due to infirmities of old age. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon from the home with burial at the Louis Corners cemetery.
Mrs. Koeppen would have been 72 of age at her next birthday, December 13. She was born in Manitowoc county and had lived here all her life. Her husband preceded her in death 23 years ago. She is survived by two sons, William and Christian, both residing in Manitowoc county, and by four step children, Mrs. Harmon of Louis Corners, Mrs. W. Schultz of Kiel, Henry Koeppen, living on the old homestead and Fred Koeppen of Milwaukee.
